Sharing your posts on Facebook just got a billion times better, with integration into Facebook’s Timeline, News Feed, and Ticker.
New options include:
- Toggle “Send to Facebook” when posting.
- Share Replies on your Facebook Timeline.
- Share Likes on your Facebook Timeline.
(They even get lumped together so they’re not overwhelming!)You can find the new options in your blog settings. If your blog is already connected to Facebook, you’ll be automatically prompted to upgrade.
Regarding the previous articles about employers asking candidates for their Facebook passwords, Erin Egan - Chief Privacy Officer, Policy at Facebook had written this blog post to make things clear:

As a user, you shouldn’t be forced to share your private information and communications just to get a job.
….
We don’t think employers should be asking prospective employees to provide their passwords because we don’t think it’s the right thing to do.

I would definitely say NO to this.
First of all, I don’t like it. At ALL.
Secondly, it violates Facebook’s Privacy Terms of Services.
Solution? Just add me as a friend on Facebook and they already see EVERYTHING. Yes. I wouldn’t go through all the trouble of privacy settings just to post “the recruiter asking for my password is a dick” on my wall.
I would be fine with logging into my OWN computer/tablet/phone and let them have a peek (no, I’m not logging into any other device that I don’t own). And if the recruiter really wants to spend a whole day looking at everything I have in my Timeline, friend list, pages and groups; I’d stay with him in the office while eating pizza and drink coca-cola. I hope the pizza is free.
Twitter snatches up Posterous, microblogging field about to get a little bit smaller - http://pulse.me/s/6U2s0
What I think is that I’d love to have a service that displays my tweeted links better, like facebook thumbnail. See, people are more likely to click on links with pictures. The thumbnail sums up the story in a glance and readers kind of know what they are clicking on. If Twitter was to have such a feature in-site, I assume links will have a better click-through rate. Such thing is now happening with Linkedin feed (imported links from Twitter is displayed with thumbnail from original site).
